Modern Bibles and Finger Foods

We are taking a two week break.  We will return on Friday, April 13th with Chapter 7 entitled Modern Bibles.  Please make sure you read.

Remember the SCC Easter Picnic at Clark Park on Saturday, April 7th from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.  Also, don't forget to invite someone to Easter Service on April 8th.

• April's staff is now aware of her departure to a new job.
• Stephanie's best friends car was found after being stolen.

Deli Night and More Keys

We will continue to dive deeper into the Keys to our Treasure Map on Friday night in Bible Study 101.  Don't forget to read Chapter 6.

Praise God for the following:

• Mark Israel is finally done with the submittal he has been working on!
• Snuffy has been without a boss for a few days!
• Rose is done with school and aced her test!
• Stephanie is back from travels!
• Michelle had a fabulous time at Tres Dias!
• Mark Chastain has a potential job offer from the company who bought out his firm!
• Isabel's body produced the natural antibodies to fight off the bee sting she received!

Prayer Requests:

• April's cousin, Sonya, is still in need of prayer as she battles cancer.
• Please pray for Valerie as she is ill.
• Michelle's grandmother fell.  Her family is caring for her; however, Michelle is requesting prayer that she goes to a nursing home to take the strain off of her Mother.
• Mark Chastain asks for prayer for his job.
• Mark Israel's uncle, John, passed away.  Please keep his Aunt Nancy in your prayers as she grieves her husband's death.
• Mark and Michelle are attending a marriage conference next weekend.  Please pray for them as they travel and learn more about their Christian marriage.
• Cheryl asks for prayers of focus as she continues to job hunt.
• Rose is continuing to be plagued by back problems so please pray for healing.

Keys to the Treasure Map and Shepherd's Pie!

This week we will continue our Bible Study 101 where we will learn the keys to the treasure map in Chapter 5.

There were lots of praises on Friday evening which I didn't write down, so please forgive your guest blogger this week.  I'll make sure to get them all next week.  SOME of them were:

• April's new job.
• Douglas winning Challenge 24 and going to the County Mathlete competition.  (I understand he did really well while not making it to the semi-finals, he did awesome!  Way to go, Douglas!)

Prayer Requests

• Heather requeted prayer for time management as she has so much on her plate with the book illustrations due soon.
• Heather's great aunt's health
• Angie, Rose’s step mother needs prayer for a variety of health issues as well as peace over recent financial struggles.
• Tiffany's Mom suffered another TIA, so please pray for her health
• April asked for prayer for her cousin, Sonya.  She now has a third blood clot in her leg, ashy skin, her hands are drawn up, and her kidneys are failing.  The family is in denial of her health and needs prayer for guidance and direction.
• Mark Chastin asked for prayer as he has big bosses coming in at work this week and he wants that to go well.  He also asked for prayer on his overall work plan for the future.
• Mark Chastin's father is having some heart problems so please pray for his health to be restored.
• Michelle is at Tres Dias and Mark would like for us to pray it goes well.
• Mark Israel needs prayer to get through this pending deadline at work so he can return to his family life.
• Stephanie and her husband are traveling so please pray for good traveling graces.
• Rose has a co-worker whose family has some health problems.  Please pray for restored health.
• Mark Chastain also asked for prayer for strenght and insight.
